Reviewer Policies
To ensure ethical standards and best practices of scholarly publishing, Measurement Instruments for the Social Sciences (MISS) has implemented a set of policies. All peer reviewers are expected to follow MISS Reviewer Policies. These policies concern:
- Competing Interests: Reviewers are asked to disclose potential competing interests before agreeing to review a paper.
- Confidentiality, Trustworthiness, and Principles of Good Practice: Reviewers must treat any information obtained through review confidential, they must respect the intellectual property of the authors and are expected to follow principles of good peer review.
- Use of Artificial Intelligence: The use of AI tools during the peer review process is prohibited.
